Royal Black, also written Royalblack, is a tyre brand run by Shandong Haohua Tire Co., Ltd from Shouguang City in Shandong. Its own website lists more than 30 patterns and 400 sizes across passenger car, SUV and light truck, winter and radial truck tyres. Royal Black is owned by Haohua, which Sri Lankan press described in 2020 as one of the largest private tyre manufacturers in China. Haohua markets four export names: Aplus, Compasal, Lanvigator and Royal Black. Its three Chinese factories are in the Shouguang area of Weifang. Trade press in 2020 gave them a combined rating of 20 million car tyres and 5 million truck and bus tyres per year.
Haohua signed an agreement on 19 November 2020 to build a tyre plant at Hambantota in Sri Lanka. European Rubber Journal reported a first phase costing USD 200 million. It was sized for 7.5 million passenger car tyres and 1.5 million truck and bus tyres a year. The full project was planned at 17 million passenger car tyres and 3 million truck and bus tyres.
Passenger car. Royal Mile is the mainstream summer tyre for 12 to 16 inch rims. Royal Performance and Royal Explorer II are ultra-high-performance summer tyres, with Royal Performance covering 15 to 20 inch rims. Royal Eco and Royal Comfort are further car lines, and Racing Trac is a UHP pattern sold in the United States.
All-season and winter. Royal A/S and Royal A/S II are the all-season car tyres, with a Royal Van A/S for vans. Winter lines are Royal Winter HP, Royal Winter UHP and Royal Winter Van.
SUV, 4x4 and van. Royal Sport is the 4x4 road tyre, with Royal A/T and Royal M/T for all-terrain and mud-terrain use. Royal Commercial is the van and light truck tyre, listed in sizes such as 215/65R16.

The Royal Black website states that its truck and bus radial production holds ISO 9001 certification, with GCC, SONCAP, DOT, ECE and INMETRO approvals. Those cover the Gulf states, Nigeria, the United States, Europe and Brazil. In the United States the Racing Trac carries a UTQG grade of 420 A A.
Royal Black car tyres are stocked in Europe by Blackcircles and Grip500 in the UK and by reifen.com in Germany and Switzerland. Blackcircles grades the Royal Mile C for wet grip across the range, with rolling noise of 70 dB on most sizes.
