Davanti began as the private brand of Oak Tyres, a north-west England wholesaler that marked 35 years in the trade in 2015. Liverpool agency Liquid created the name and logo. The brand was shown at Autopromotec in May 2015 and at CITEXPO in Shanghai later that year. It sits under Oak Group Holdings alongside the Oak Tyres wholesale business.
The first two patterns were the mass-market DX390 and the high performance DX640. Winter tyres followed in 2017 and the Terratoura all-terrain tyre in May 2018. In December 2020 Davanti opened a European Development Centre at the Applus IDIADA proving ground near Barcelona for prototype and wet and dry testing.
Production is contracted out. Trade press named Qingdao Sentury Tire as a Davanti manufacturing partner in 2020, and the brand lists plants in Thailand, China and Cambodia. The Protoura Sport Evo, announced in January 2025, is the first Davanti tyre made in a European factory.
Passenger car and UHP. DX390 and Ecoura cover small and medium cars from 14 inch. DX640, Protoura Sport and Protoura Sport Runflat cover performance fitments up to 21 inch. Protoura Race is a semi-slick track tyre for 13 to 18 inch rims.
All-season and winter. Alltoura 4-Seasons is the all-season car line. Wintoura, Wintoura Plus and Wintoura SUV are the winter lines, with Wintoura Plus reaching 20 inch.
SUV and 4x4. DX740 is the road SUV pattern. Terratoura A/T and Terratoura M/T serve pickups and off-road use; the A/T launched with 10 sizes from 15 to 17 inch and now includes 18 inch.
Van. Vantoura 4-Seasons, first shown at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham in 2021, is an all-season C-rated van tyre in 15 and 16 inch sizes.

The brand reports sales in more than 80 countries and names the UK, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Poland and South America among its markets. Davanti is an official partner of Everton Football Club and has been the control tyre of the Mini Challenge Clubsport series since January 2025.
