Maxam is the specialty off-highway brand of Sailun Group, covering mining, construction, port, industrial and agricultural tyres plus rubber tracks. It does not sell car or highway truck tyres. Its European arm, Maxam Tire International, moved from Luxembourg to Birmingham, UK in 2015. Maxam supplies Case IH and New Holland tractor factories in Europe as original equipment.

Maxam Tire International relocated from Luxembourg to Birmingham in 2015 to sit alongside Sailun Europe. Martin West led the business until he retired in October 2018 and was succeeded by Troy Kline. In 2018 Maxam also signed a long-term supply agreement with the wheel and tyre company STARCO.
Production sits inside the Sailun plant network. Sailun reports an OTR portfolio of more than 2,000 specifications and has built a 63 inch radial tyre. Its Vietnam plant started giant tyre production in November 2023 and has added rubber track production. A plant at Demak in Indonesia is planned to add 37,000 tonnes of off-highway tyres a year.
Mining and construction OTR. The MS401, MS402 and MS403 radial mining patterns fit haul trucks of up to 320 tons. The MS302 is an L3 wheel loader tyre. The MS708 is a solid OTR tyre promoted as zero maintenance.
Port and industrial. The PortXtra line has the MS307 in IND-3 depth and the MS407 in IND-4 depth for port handling equipment. Maxam also sells forklift tyres, including solid tyres made with Sailun EcoPoint3 compounding.
Agricultural. AgriXtra radials cover tractors, with N row-crop, H heavy-duty and XL versions. Rims run from 20 to 42 inch and widths from 460 to 710 mm. FlotXtra and AgilXtra are flotation tyres for tankers and trailers.

Caterpillar approved the Maxam MS302 L3 tyre for certain Cat wheel loaders in 2019. Maxam supplies Case IH and New Holland factories in Europe as original equipment.
Maxam is active in North America and Europe. Kirkby Tyres became its farm tyre distributor for the UK and Ireland in March 2024. Maxam showed the AgriXtra, FlotXtra, AgilXtra and MS ranges at Agritechnica 2023.
