Carleo is the second truck and bus radial brand of Weifang Yuelong Rubber Co., Ltd, a Shandong manufacturer set up in 1986 at Taitou in Shouguang. Its patterns are grouped in three families: C-MAX, LEOPRO and the CD drive series. The factory lists Carleo in 31 all-steel sizes, from 6.50R16LT to 12.00R24, and showed the LEOPRO 7 and LEOPRO 9 at Tyrexpo Asia 2025.

Carleo belongs to Weifang Yuelong Rubber, which gives 1986 as its founding year and reports assets of over 500 million US dollars. The plant at Taitou, Shouguang has a stated capacity of 5.6 million truck and bus radials a year, shared between Carleo and the group's other labels. Yuelong offers more than 550 specifications in total and buys materials from Cabot, Bekaert and Lanxess.
Within the group, Carleo sits beside Constancy with an almost identical size list but its own pattern names. Yuelong described the LEOPRO 7 and LEOPRO 9 as self-developed Carleo products when it exhibited them in Singapore in March 2025. Several Carleo designs carry the same tread data as a Constancy counterpart: the CD35 drive tyre has a 275 mm tread cap and 24.5 mm grooves.
Long haul and highway. C-MAX168 and C-MAX169 steer and trailer tyres with CD33, CD35 and C-MAX188 drive tyres, in 11R22.5, 12R22.5, 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5. The LEOPRO 7 steer tyre has a 260 mm tread width in 295/80R22.5.
Mixed service and mining. All-position patterns C-MAX160, C-MAX165 and C-MAX166 for general hauling in 12.00R20, 12.00R24 and 315/80R22.5. The C-MAX186 drive pattern in 11R22.5 is listed for off-road and mining use, and LEOPRO 333 is an all-terrain pattern in 13R22.5.
Light and medium truck. 16 inch all-steel light truck sizes from 6.50R16LT to 8.25R16LT, plus 17.5 and 19.5 inch tubeless sizes such as 215/75R17.5, 235/75R17.5, 245/70R19.5 and 285/70R19.5.

Carleo was one of two brands Yuelong took to the 136th Canton Fair in October 2024, where it met distributors from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The brand was on the Yuelong stand at Tyrexpo Asia 2025 in Singapore and at the Latin Tyre and Auto Parts Expo in Panama in August 2026. For Panama the company highlighted 215/75R17.5, 12.00R20, 11R22.5, 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5 and 275/80R22.5.
The manufacturer does not publish Carleo approvals on its English website. Importers should ask for the DOT, ECE, GCC or other certificate that applies to each size and market.
