Jinyu Tire Group was founded in 1995 and has its head office on Qingken Road in Dawang, Guangrao county, Dongying. The company states that it employs more than 6,000 people and holds more than 90 national patents. It also lists offices in Hong Kong and in Vietnam. Its tyre laboratory is accredited by CNAS to ISO/IEC 17025.
The group broke ground on its first overseas plant in Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, Tay Ninh province, Vietnam, in 2020. The first truck tyre was built there on 30 March 2021, with an initial design capacity of 2 million TBR tyres a year. In 2024 Shandong Jinyu Tire filed a 250 million yuan upgrade for its Dongying plant. It adds 1 million units to reach 4.2 million all-steel tyres a year.
Jinyu suspended passenger and light truck tyre production for about five years to concentrate on truck tyres. It broke ground on a car tyre project at the Vietnam site in December 2023 and opened the plant in April 2025. The planned capacity is 10 million semi-steel tyres a year, with full completion targeted for the second half of 2026.
Long haul and regional truck tyres. Steer, drive and trailer patterns in the JF, JD, JT and JY series, mainly in 22.5 inch and 19.5 inch sizes. The JF518 steer tyre runs from 245/70R19.5 to 315/80R22.5, including 60-series sizes added in December 2021.
On/off road and off road. Mixed-service patterns for construction haulage include the JD727 drive tyre and the JA908H steer and drive tyre. The JA626 wide-base trailer tyre comes in 385/65R22.5, 425/65R22.5 and 445/65R22.5.
Coach, urban and winter. The JU551, JU555 and JU558 patterns cover coach and city bus use. The JW591, JW592, JW593 and JW595 patterns form a separate winter truck line for steer, drive and trailer axles.
Passenger and light truck. Jinyu-branded semi-steel car and light truck tyres returned in 2025 from the new Vietnam plant, aimed first at European and American demand.

The group reports a sales network in more than 100 countries and sales centres in North America, Europe and Vietnam. Its European arm, Jinyu Tire (Europe) GmbH, is registered in Dusseldorf and the brand has a German-language website. The 2021 JF518 and JA626 launches were developed for European fleets, and the Vietnam truck plant was aimed at Europe and North America.
