Westlake Tyres

Westlake is a tyre brand of Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber), headquartered in Hangzhou. The company began in 1958 as Hangzhou Rubber Factory and has been described by Tyrepress as China's largest tyre manufacturer. Westlake covers truck, passenger, light truck, OTR and industrial tyres and is sold alongside its sister brands Goodride, Chaoyang, Arisun and Trazano.

About Westlake

ZC Rubber started in 1958 as a bicycle tyre maker in Hangzhou. It entered the global top ten tyre manufacturers on its 2017 results and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2025, raising about 4.07 billion yuan.

The Thai plant in Rayong has operated since 2015 and can make more than 20 million tyres a year across car, truck, industrial and motorcycle lines. The first phase of the Indonesian plant in Kendal, Central Java, was inaugurated in December 2024. Ground was broken in August 2024 on a plant in Saltillo, Mexico, planned for 13.5 million passenger tyres a year.

Westlake Tyre Range

Truck and bus (TBR). Steer, drive, trailer and all-position patterns for long haul, regional and mixed service. The W-Elite line is the newest generation.

Passenger car. The Z series: ZuperEco Z-107 for summer touring (14 to 18 inch) and ZuperAce Z-007 for ultra-high performance (17 to 22 inch).

Light truck and SUV. All-terrain patterns such as the SL369 A/T.

OTR, industrial and farm. Covered by Westlake and by the group's specialist Arisun brand.

Certifications and Markets

The W-Elite ZA12 is EPA SmartWay verified, and the W-Elite DA25 carries the three-peak mountain snowflake mark. The ZuperAce Z-007 holds the TUV SUD Mark. Westlake is sold in more than 190 countries, with named distribution in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

At group level, ZC Rubber supplies original equipment tyres to SAIC Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Changan, Great Wall and Geely, and to the trailer maker Schmitz Cargobull.
