The company behind Aplus started in 1994 and has stayed in private ownership. A UK retailer profile describes a site of more than 1,000,000 square metres with two truck tyre factories and one passenger car tyre factory. That profile gives yearly output of 24 million passenger car tyres and 5.5 million truck tyres. European Rubber Journal quoted slightly lower nameplate figures in 2020: 20 million passenger car tyres and 5 million truck and bus tyres.
In 2020 the journal also reported a USD 195 million project in Shouguang county to add 3 million truck and bus tyres a year. Full operation had been planned for mid-2020 but was delayed. Aplus truck patterns are the Haohua truck tyres listed by UK commercial tyre retailers.
