Austone is one of four tyre brands owned by Prinx Chengshan, the Shandong manufacturer established in 1976. It is the group brand most visible in European retail, where its SP-series car tyres are stocked in summer, winter and all-season versions. Its slogan is Make it Count. The catalogue also extends to truck and bus tyres and to radial and bias off-road, industrial and agricultural tyres.

About Austone

Austone belongs to Prinx Chengshan. European Rubber Journal ranked the company as the world number 35 tyre maker in 2020, with sales of about USD 800 million. Revenue has since grown to RMB 10.97 billion in 2024.

The manufacturer has two production bases. The older one is in Shandong. The newer one in Chonburi, Thailand broke ground in March 2019. In 2024 it was rated at 10 million semi-steel and 2 million all-steel tyres a year. European distributors and press toured the Thai plant for the first time in February 2024.

Austone Tyre Range

Passenger car and SUV. SP-series summer tyres from 13 inch city sizes up to UHP fitments, plus SP-901 and SP-902 winter tyres and the SP-401 all-season tyre.

Light truck and van. The brand site has a separate light truck and commercial van category. One European retailer lists 362 Austone car, van and off-road articles in total.
