Kaixuan Rubber built its plant in the Cao County Development Zone in 2014 with a reported investment of 3 billion yuan. Its sales office is in Huangdao District, Qingdao. The company profile says its technical staff came from the CST/Maxxis factory and its operations team from Sailun. It reports more than 50 people in research and development.
The company was part of Yuelong Tire Group until Zodo Tire bought it in March 2023, according to Tyrepress. The purchase price was not disclosed. Zodo is known for Grenlander, Ilink, Fronway and Zmax passenger tyres, and at the time it was not stated whether Kaixuan would keep operating independently.
