Weifang Huadong Rubber dates from 1991 and holds provincial high-tech enterprise status in Shandong. Its Shouguang plant employs more than 1,000 people and makes all-steel heavy truck radials and light truck tyres. The company puts output at 1.5 million tyres a year across more than 100 specifications.
In 2018 Huadong bought the Heze car tyre maker Shandong Longyue Rubber and renamed it Zodo Tire. Tyrepress listed Goldshield with Grenlander, iLink, Zmax, Fronway and Rockblade as Zodo brands in April 2024. Zodo added a second all-steel factory in 2023 by acquiring Kaixuan Rubber, a plant rated at 3.6 million truck tyres a year.
Truck and bus (TBR). Goldshield covers steer, drive, trailer and all-position fitments on Huadong's HD tread designs. The HD768 is sold in the UK as a 385/65R22.5 trailer tyre with load and speed rating 160L. Light truck. The Shouguang factory also builds light truck radials. Its catalogue names five light truck lines: Rockmaster, Vanmejor C30, Gallopro H/T, Zealion and Landgema.
