Sentury announced Groundspeed alongside its plan for a 530 million US dollar factory in LaGrange, Georgia. The brand was meant to be built there from 2018. Until then production was to come from Rayong, Thailand. The Georgia project was put on indefinite hold in July 2019 and the factory was never built, so Groundspeed has remained an imported brand.
At launch the brand was run by a separate company from Sentury Tire Americas, which handled Delinte and Landsail. European Rubber Journal reported the positioning as a tier 3 price with tier 2 dealer support. Sales went first to dealers able to take full containers. Six Voyager models were announced: GT, HP, HT, SV, AT and a mud-terrain tyre then in development.
Truck and bus (TBR). Eight GS-coded patterns cover steer, drive, trailer and all-position fitments for regional, long-haul and mixed service. Core sizes are 295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 285/75R24.5 in load ranges G and H. The GSZX01 wide-base tyre comes in 385/65R22.5 and 425/65R22.5.
Passenger and CUV/SUV. Voyager GT and GT-AS are all-season touring tyres, with the GT-AS spanning 14 to 22 inch rims. Voyager HP is the ultra-high-performance pattern in 17 to 20 inch sizes. Voyager SV and Voyager Compass 365 are for crossovers and SUVs.
Light truck. Voyager XT is a crossover-terrain tyre in 15 to 24 inch rims with a 55,000 mile warranty. Voyager MT is a mud-terrain tyre in 15 to 20 inch rims with a 3-ply sidewall.

The brand was designed for the United States and Canada and is sold through dealers and wholesalers supplied from Florida. Modern Tire Dealer reported in 2021 that the truck line would be offered on a global basis, with first deliveries in January 2022.
