The company history starts in 1975, when its first tyre technicians began retreading bias agricultural and bias truck tyres in Qixia, Shandong. The first new agricultural tyre followed in 1978. In 1995 the firm was renamed Laizhou Xiongying Rubber Industry Co., Ltd and came under the management of Huanri Group. Bias OTR production began in 2001 and industrial tyres for forklifts and port equipment in 2002.
A bias giant mining tyre was launched in 2006, and all-steel radial giant mining tyres followed in 2008. By 2012 the lines covered radial truck and bus, off-road, agricultural and mining tyres. An overseas department was set up in 2016, shortly after Qingdao Hawkway Tyre Co., Ltd filed the Hawk Way trademark in the United States in November 2015. The company reports a share reorganisation in 2020, more than 260 engineers and a site of over 500,000 square metres.
Truck and bus radial (TBR). Steer, drive, trailer and all-position HK patterns for regional and mixed service, with a focus on heavily loaded dump trucks. Sizes run from 215/75R17.5 and 19.5 inch regional fitments to 11R22.5, 12R22.5, 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5 and tube-type 11.00R20 and 12.00R24.
