Primewell is the value-priced associate brand of Giti Tire, sitting below the Giti and GT Radial names in the group line-up. It covers passenger cars, SUVs and 4x4s, and a long list of truck and bus radials. Stapleton's Tyre Services has sold the brand in the UK since 2009. In the USA it is stocked by Firestone Complete Auto Care stores.

Primewell has no factory of its own. The trademark belongs to Giti Tire, the Singapore group whose production is spread across China, Indonesia and South Carolina. The Primewell website names Giti as its global parent. It refers to shared R&D centres in the United States, Germany, China, Indonesia and the UK, and proving grounds in the UK, China and Finland.
The brand reached the UK car market in 2009, when Stapleton's Tyre Services took exclusive rights. Its Primewell Key Dealer Programme launched with three patterns: PZ900, PS830 and PS850. In March 2011 ATS Euromaster added Primewell truck and bus tyres as a mid-range fleet option for vehicles from 7.5 tonnes upward. At that time the truck range was already on sale in Asia, the Americas and mainland Europe.
Passenger car. PS-series patterns serve small and medium cars: PS21 in 13 to 15 inch, PS880 in 13 to 17 inch, PS870 in 13 to 14 inch. PS10 and PS16 extend the line to 21 and 22 inch rims, and PS Winter200 and PX Winter500 are the winter patterns.
SUV and 4x4. Valera AT is the all-terrain line in 15 to 20 inch P-metric sizes, with Valera H/T for highway use in the US market. PW4x4 PX70 is a further all-terrain pattern in 15 to 18 inch.
Truck and bus (TBR). The Primewell site lists about 40 truck patterns for long haul, regional, urban, mixed service and off-road work. Fitments include 17.5 and 19.5 inch sizes, 8R22.5 to 12R22.5, wide-base 385/65R22.5 and 425/65R22.5, and tube-type 9.00R20 to 12.00R24.

The Primewell site states that its production plants hold ISO/TS 16949 quality certification and ISO 14001 environmental certification. Firestone Complete Auto Care lists four Primewell lines for US drivers: PS890 Touring, Valera H/T, PS830/850 and Primewell All Season. The All Season carries a 45,000 mile limited warranty.
In the UK, ATS Euromaster described the truck range as regroovable and suited to rigid trucks, tractor units, trailers, coaches and buses. No original equipment fitments were found for Primewell; OE supply within the group is handled under the Giti name.
Primewell truck codes mirror Giti codes with a P prefix, for example PSR259 and PTL919 against GSR259 and GTL919. The two brands can therefore be compared pattern by pattern.
