Prinx is the flagship brand of Prinx Chengshan, a Hong Kong-listed tyre maker based in Rongcheng, Shandong. The brand site describes it as the first new brand of Prinx Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., a joint venture between Prairie Investment and Chengshan Group. Its car and SUV lines are named HiCity, HiRace and HiCountry. Prinx was launched in Europe in 2023 and shown in North America at SEMA that November.

The group traces its tyre business to 1976 in Rongcheng. Prinx Chengshan Holdings listed in Hong Kong on 9 October 2018 under stock code 1809. Its 2024 annual report names China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and Chengshan Group among its major shareholders.
The 2024 annual report gives Shandong capacity as 7.4 million all-steel and 11.53 million semi-steel tyres a year. The Thai base adds 2 million all-steel and 10 million semi-steel tyres. Group sales reached 28.0 million tyres in 2024 on revenue of RMB 10.97 billion.
Prinx Chengshan Tire North America sells Prinx alongside Fortune. Modern Tire Dealer reported that its North American dealer network grew from 11 to 54 dealers after 2022.

SUV and 4x4. The HiCountry family starts with the HT2 highway all-season tyre. It continues with the HA2 and A/T2 all-terrain tyres, the HM1 for harsh terrain and the R/T HR1.
Van and winter. The brand site lists the HV1 for light trucks and vans and the HW1 as its winter pattern. In North America the HiSeason 4S HS1 is sold as an all-weather tyre.
Truck and bus. All-steel radial patterns on the brand site include TH107, DR601, AR602, AM210, AM211 and DM212. US retailers also list the HiFleet HL1 commercial tyre.

The Prinx brand site shows CCC, ISO, DOT and ECE certificates. The HiCountry A/T2 carries the 3PMSF snow marking and a 50,000 mile warranty in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer.
Tyrepress reported the European launch of Prinx about six months before its North American debut at the SEMA Show in November 2023. Prinx is the official tyre partner of the United Soccer League in the United States.
