Samson has no factory of its own. It is one of five trademarks held by Guizhou Tyre, which grew from a rubber factory founded in Guiyang in 1958. The parent has traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1996. The group makes more than 3,000 specifications and models across all its brands.
Tyrepress lists the group's production sites in China and Vietnam as making Samson and Advance branded tyres. The Vietnamese plant in Tien Giang province dates from a 2019 investment of 214 million US dollars. In 2016 the manufacturer introduced a tubeless truck line called the Speed series under the Samson name for the Chinese market.
Truck and bus (TBR). The core of the Samson offer in Europe: all-position, drive and trailer radials for regional and long-haul work. Verified sizes include 295/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 in Europe and 11R22.5 in North America.
Off-the-road and industrial. US retailers list Samson for OTR and industrial tyres as well as truck radials. UK dealers note that Guizhou-built loader and crane radials can arrive branded either Samson or Advance.
Agricultural. The manufacturer names agricultural tyres as the third Samson segment after truck and OTR tyres.
